BIRD SURVEYS IN NORTH EAST NORFOLK

My name is Chris Hudson.

I am the representative for the BTO (British Trust for Ornithology) in North East Norfolk.

My role is to organise Surveys for the BTO.

Some surveys, for example the Breeding Bird Survey (BBS), are annual. Others are for one or two seasons and often arise at short notice.

The next big project is the Bird Atlas which starts later this year.

Some of you may have been involved with the field work for the Norfolk Bird Atlas which has been organised by Moss Taylor. The field work for this finishes this summer.

I am seeking more volunteers to carry out survey work because there are very few covering the area east of Acle and south of Winterton.

I would be very glad to hear from anyone who would like to help or who would like to know more.

I can be contacted on:-
01603 868805
07771 635844
or
chris697@btinternet.com

I look forward to hearing from you.
