ello and a very warm welcome from the

[   Recent Sighting   ]

A quiet start to the year with up to 7 Shore Larks at Caister and Winterton in January and a wintering Turtle Dove at Ormesby St. Margaret. These were followed by an American Wigeon and a good series of Black Redstart and Firecrest sightings from March with a 'Northern' Bullfinch at this time. Wood Warbler, Red-rumped Swallow, Serin, Temminck's Stint, several Spoonbills and the first of a good series of Montagu's Harrier sightings were found in April but most striking was the passage of Ring Ouzels and Bar-tailed Godwits.

May was an excellent month for rarer species with Black Kite, Dotterel, Bonaparte's Gull, Temminck's Stint, Pectoral Sandpiper, Red-footed Falcon, Alpine Swift, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Icterine Warbler, Bee-eater, Red-backed Shrike and Common Rosefinch all being seen.
